When you take a photo, what is your intention?
To capture a pretty picture? To freeze a moment in time? To have something tangible to look back on?
What does a photograph mean to you?
For me, it’s much more precious than forgotten photos sitting in my iPhone that has exceeded the iCloud storage.
It’s an heirloom. Something for my children, my children’s children. Something that gets carried down the line.
It’s the art of remembering. The art of feeling someone’s emotion. Seeing a photograph of a person you’ve never met, but somehow feeling like you know them.
There are many reasons why I do this.
But really, I just believe our lives are worth remembering.
And my whole heart is poured into helping you remember yours.
my style
Documentary at heart, with an editorial eye. I’m drawn to interesting light, thoughtful composition, human connection and the moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. My work is a mix of the beautifully composed and the wonderfully imperfect. A little nostalgic, sometimes unconventional, but always rooted in real life.
my approach
I’m not strictly a fly on the wall, and I’m not here to direct your every move either. I’ll step in when a little guidance is needed, create space for things to happen naturally, and know when to simply observe. I want you to enjoy your day, be yourselves, and trust that I’m paying attention to the moments both big and small.
